That Light

An 11-month study of the shifting light in my home.

This is the most personal documentary series in my portfolio—simple moments, seen through the eyes of a photographer drawn to light. It began with winter sun pooling on the dining room table, where the cats followed its warmth. As the earth moved around the sun and the light wandered, I wandered with it. I watched, I followed, I photographed. Over time, the study became less about the objects in the light and more about the light itself—the shadows it cast, the shapes it carved, the quiet beauty in its fleeting presence.
